NCIP continues providing services in voluntary copyright and related rights objects registration and depositing

Services and information

From January to September of 2022 the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) provided services with respect to 120 copyright objects including 80 computer programs and 40 other works. This period is marked by a gradual increase in the number of deposited objects.

As part of the registration and deposit services, authors, performers and other right holders submit a copy of the object and the necessary materials to the NCIP for storage, and then receive a certificate which can be used as an additional means of protecting rights in the event of their violation.

Services are rendered in respect of the following objects of copyright (works):

  • literary;
  • scripts;
  • Musical (with and without text);
  • audiovisual;
  • works of visual art;
  • works of applied art and design;
  • works of architecture, urban planning and landscape art;
  • photographic;
  • relating to geography, cartography and other sciences;
  • computer programs;
  • works of science;
  • other works (including databases).
Since April 2022 services are also provided for objects of related rights:

  • performances;
  • phonograms;
  • programs of broadcasting or cable broadcasting organizations.
