The third issue of the journal «Intellectual Property in Belarus» published an article «Remuneration for the Inventor of a Service Invention Reducing the Risk of Conflicts and Ensuring Transparency».

The article analyzes the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus that establish rules for determining the amount and payment of remuneration for the creation and use of an official invention, the use of which is associated with the risk of a dispute between the author (co-authors) and the employer, as well as between the authors of the specified object of industrial property law, or with errors in determining the amount of these remuneration. Examples of resolving problematic situations arising in practice by the courts of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation are considered. Proposals have been formulated to improve the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on the payment of remuneration to the author (co-authors) of official objects of industrial property law.
