NCIP joins the working meeting with Zimbabwe representatives

Today, the representatives of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Zimbabwe held an online working meeting, during which the draft Program on Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the parties was discussed. The National Center of Intellectual Property was represented by the Head of the International Cooperation Division Arthur Akhramenka.

Among the many questions in focus, the parties touched upon the bilateral cooperation in the intellectual property sphere.

Traditionally, the cooperation between the Belarus IP Office and the countries of the African continent is carried out within the framework of regional groups of governing and negotiating bodies of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), including the WIPO Assemblies, Program and Budget Committee, Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights, Standing Committee on the Law of Patents, Standing Committee on the Law of Trademarks, Committee on Development and Intellectual Property, Committee on WIPO Standards.
