The results of cooperation in 2021 and joint activities in the current year were discussed by Yermek Kuantyrov, Director of the Department of Business Development of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and Mikhail Myskin, Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee at the EEC headquarters.

The parties noted the need to promote a joint agenda of the EEC and the CIS Executive Committee in the field of intellectual property (IP), raising public and business awareness about the main directions of development of legal protection and enforcement of IP in the Eurasian space, as well as improving international law in this area.

Following the results of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a round table in the fourth quarter of 2022 to exchange information and experience in the field of IP with representatives of both organizations, scientific and public circles, as well as businesses of the Eurasian Economic Union and the CIS.

"Our organizations have a common goal - to develop a modern and efficient system of intellectual property to improve the living standards and competitiveness of the economies of our countries", - Yermek Kuantyrov said.
