In July 2023, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and WIPO signed an agreement to bring together the TCS Access Infinity platform's partner libraries and the Accessible Books Consortium (ABC) in developing countries. Through this collaboration, the plan is to increase the number of works in accessible formats for users in these countries.

The Access Infinity platform makes content accessible to persons with print disabilities. Access to information greatly determines a person's ability to get an education, find a job, enjoy their rights and opportunities, achieve economic independence and participate in society.

The main goal of the project is to develop a digital ecosystem that will enable persons with print disabilities to access content that will enable them to lead independent, productive lives.

In an interview with WIPO Magazine, Charudatta Jadhav (Chief Scientist, Head of Research and Innovation for Accessibility Technologies at TCS and Chief Architect of Access Infinity) discusses the difficulties of creating this revolutionary platform and how it will transform digital publishing and the lives of millions of print-disabled users.
