30th anniversary festive event

On 28 April the National Library of Belarus hosted a gala evening dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the National Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Belarus.

The event gathered the management, employees and veterans of the National Center of Intellectual Property, as well as friends, partners and honorary guests of the Center.

The warm words of congratulations were heard from the management and representatives of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, State Committee on Science and Technology, Republican Scientific and Technical Library, Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere, Belarusian Composers Union, Belarusian Association of Patent Attorneys, National Patent and Information Center.

A long-time friend of the Center, former director of the Department for Transition and Developed Economies of the World Intellectual Property Organization Michal Schwantner as well as heads of intellectual property offices of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Serbia sent their greetings in a video message.

The festive atmosphere was additionally fueled by the demonstration of a video about the history and modern life of the Center, a rich concert program, as well as the presentation of honored awards to employees and staff of the organization.
