WIPO and EAPO will hold a series of joint webinars and trainings on the PCT system

In connection with the start of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) as an international search and preliminary examination body a series of educational events devoted to the PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) system will be held.

Webinars and trainings will be conducted jointly with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Russian language, participation is free of charge.

Joint webinars and trainings by WIPO and EAPO are recommended to Eurasian patent attorneys, practitioners, national applicants and employees of national patent offices of the Eurasian Patent Organization member states.

First regional webinar "Demonstration of Electronic Filing of the International Application via the ePCT Portal" will be held on September 26, 2022 at 11:00 Moscow time. The audience will be shown the algorithm of filing an international application via the ePCT portal, and the functionality of the portal for the PCT application preparation and submission will be explained.
