The National Center for Electronic Services has launched a new service for verifying the validity of an electronic digital signature (EDS).

Anyone can verify the validity of the electronic digital signature used to sign electronic documents received from the National Intellectual Property Center, including as part of administrative procedures through the unified electronic services portal В«E-PaslugaВ».

In order to check the EDS, it is necessary in the field «1. Detached EDS (CMS/PKCS#7)» on the left in the «Source Document» panel, upload a document signed by EDS (document format .pdf, .docx, .xml), on the right in the «Signature file (.sig, .p7s, .sgn)» panel – directly the signature file (format `.sig`, `.sgn` or `.p7s`) and click the «START VERIFICATION PROCEDURE» button.

If the result of the verification procedure is negative, then go to the field В«2. Attached EDSВ». Next, in the specified field, upload the signature file (.sig, .p7s, .sgn) directly to the panel (format `.sig`, `.sgn` or `.p7s`) and click В«START VERIFICATION PROCEDUREВ».

After completing the EDS verification procedure, in the report that appears, you can see which specific document is signed by the verified EDS.

Please note that it is possible to verify the validity of an EDS only with respect to documents signed by current (valid) EDS at the time of verification. If an EDS that has expired sign the document, the verification will show a negative result even if the EDS was still valid at the time of signing this document.

We also note that the pdf report generated based on the verification results is purely informational in nature.
