In 2023, the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) provided voluntary registration and deposit services for 154 copyrighted works.

The largest number of objects whose right holders used this NCIP service relates to computer programs, literary works, works of applied art and design.

By taking advantage of the offered service, the right holder receives an additional tool to protect his rights in case of their infringement. If necessary, the NCIP will be able to confirm the existence of the object of copyright or related rights on the date of registration and deposit, as well as to report on the persons indicated as the right holder.

The NCIP deposits objects of copyright and related rights together with documents and materials containing information about them in digital form with restricted access of third parties to the content of the files. When using information and communication technologies, the original copies of the object, materials and documents submitted by the applicant are preserved.

Services are rendered in respect of the following objects of copyright (works):

  • literary;
  • scripts;
  • musical (with and without text);
  • audiovisual;
  • works of visual art;
  • works of applied art and design;
