On June 22, 2021, the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Daren Tang held a meeting with the heads of the intellectual property offices of the Regional Group of Central Asian, Caucasus and Eastern European Countries (CACEEC).

The Republic of Belarus was represented by the Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property Uladzimir Rabavolau.

The meeting’s agenda included the discussion of the draft WIPO strategic mid-term plan, the draft Program and Budget Plan, as well as the revised WIPO Linguistic Policy. All participants emphasized their interest in maintaining the existing level of cooperation with WIPO in terms of the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving national intellectual property legislation, popularizing knowledge about this sphere, as well as raising the level of services provided by national IP offices. The heads of the IP offices reiterated their willingness to support WIPO initiatives, including pilot projects aimed at developing and strengthening the intellectual property
