VIII International Forum “Anti-counterfeiting – 2020”
On December 21-22, 2020, Minsk will host the VIII International Forum “Anti-Counterfeiting – 2020”. The forum is organized by the Government of the Republic of Belarus, State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, National Center of Intellectual Property, Eurasian Economic Commission, International Association “Anti-Counterfeiting”, and Association for Intellectual Property Protection “BelBrand”.
The event has established itself as an open platform for communication between representatives of international organizations, governmental bodies, business and public on topical issues of intellectual property protection, as well as countering illegal trade in products within the Eurasian Economic Union.
This year, Forum is scheduled to be held in a hybrid format, involving both off-line events and those held via video conferencing.
The forum participants will discuss practical aspects of combating counterfeiting in the digital environment in the context of 2020 challenges, issues of labelling and traceability systems of goods, difficulties faced when ensuring the safety of goods and countering counterfeiting, mechanisms for countering the illegal circulation of tobacco products in the EAEU, peculiarities of protecting intellectual property in emergency cases.
