The Republican Scientific and Technical Library offers document indexing services

The Republican Library for Science and Technology offers document indexing services using generally accepted classification systems used in the scientific and educational environment.

Assignment is being performed:

• UDC (Universal Decimal Classification), an international knowledge systematization system;
• LBC (Library And Bibliographic Classification), widely used in libraries and publishing houses;
• SRSTI (State Rubricator of Scientific and Technical Information), which is necessary for accounting and searching for scientific developments;

Indexing is a key stage in the preparation of scientific, educational and methodological materials, which ensures the systematization and effective search for information and allows:

• аccurately correlate documents with thematic sections and research areas;
• simplify navigation through library and electronic resources;
• to unify the design of dissertations, scientific articles, reports and monographs;
• to bring the materials in line with the requirements of publishing houses, scientific organizations and certification commissions.

Indexing services are important for researchers, teachers, graduate students, students, as well as organizations involved in the preparation and production of scientific and educational publications.
