Operation of the Judicial Board on Intellectual Property Cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus in 2020

In 2020, there were 249 cases in the proceedings of the Judicial Board on Intellectual Property Cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, of which 194 were disputes in the field of copyright and related rights; 55 – disputes in the field of industrial property law.

In total, 179 cases in the field of copyright and related rights and 45 cases in the field of industrial property law were considered, including 6 complaints against decisions of the Board of Appeals of the Patent Authority.

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus refused to satisfy these complaints against the decisions of the Board of Appeals of the Patent Authority.
