National seminar on IP protection and commercialization issues held in Minsk

On March 1, 2022, the Republican Scientific and Technical Library (RSTL) hosted a seminar "Protection and commercialization of intellectual property and the use of information resources in implementation of scientific, technical and innovation policy" for representatives of the national governmental bodies and other entities – participants of state industrial and science-technical, research programs, individual projects, and as well for end customers of these programs, members of state expert councils, experts, and all interested parties.

Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP), addressed his welcome speech to the seminar participants.

Within the event its participants discussed the issues concerning evaluation of the results and strategies for protection of intellectual activity; dispute resolution practices; IP commercialization etc.

NCIP was represented by Alena Usachova, Head of Industrial Property Examination Department, Natallia Sinishova, Head of Trademarks Department, Tatsiana Talkanitsa, Head of Pre-Trial Settlement Division, Viktoryia Besarabava, Deputy Head of Department of Scientific, Educational and Publishing Activities.
