On October 29, an online meeting bringing together representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), business associations, government bodies, entrepreneurs of Belarus will be held under the chairmanship of Timur Zhaksylykov, Member of the Board (Minister) for Economy and Financial Policy of EEC.

The Ministry of Economy of Belarus will host the meeting. The parties plan to discuss topical problems that the Belarusian business community faces while doing business within the frameworks of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

“It is planned to consider the issues of public procurement, provision of industrial and agricultural subsidies, introduction of a traceability system (labelling) of goods, intellectual property rights enforcement,” the EEC noted. “The agenda also includes issues of the banking sector, labour migration, transport, elimination of barriers in the internal market of the Union, as well as other aspects of functioning and development of the EAEU”.

It’s a common practice for EEC to hold such annual meetings with business community of the EAEU member states.
