EAPO-EEC regional seminar on the Eurasian system of industrial design legal protection

On November 24-25, 2021, a regional seminar on the Eurasian system of legal protection of industrial designs, organized by the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) in cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), will take place in an online format.

The seminar will cover the new regional system of industrial design legal protection created at EAPO: key provisions of regional law, requirements for an application for the grant of a Eurasian industrial design patent, issues of patentability of industrial designs, stages of patent procedure. In addition, the participants will be provided with an overview of the EAPO information resources related to industrial designs and information on the Eurasian patent attorneys specializing in industrial designs.

Representatives of the IP offices of the EAPO member states working in the field of industrial design protection, as well as patent attorneys, patent experts, representatives of the business community, users of industrial design registration systems are invited to participate in the seminar.
