Republican competition to award scholarships from the President of Belarus to talented young scientists for 2025

Acceptance of applications for participation in the national competition for the appointment of scholarships of the President of Belarus to talented young scientists for 2025 started.

The competition is aimed at evaluating the achievements of talented young scientists in priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities and their contribution to the social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus.

Candidates of doctors of sciences up to 45 years of age, candidates of sciences - up to 35 years, scientists without a degree - up to 30 years as of January 1 of the year in which the nomination is made are invited to participate.

Applications are available until July 1, 2024.

In order to stimulate the development of creative initiative of young scientists, in accordance with Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 367 of August 11, 2005 «On Improving the Stimulation of Creative Work of Young Scientists, 100 scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus are awarded to talented young scientists working in organizations performing scientific research and development in the field of natural, technical, social and human sciences.

Nomination of candidates is carried out by organizations at the main place of work of a talented young scientist, at the meeting of scientific workers or scientific and technical (scientific) council on the basis of the recommendation of the employees of the structural subdivision where they work.
