The regular 15th Belarusian Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) has been launched on the basis of the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU). The relevant agreement is signed today by Uladzimir Rabavolau, Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP), and Igor Voitov, Rector of the BSTU.

Within the framework of the named document signing procedure, a seminar on “Organization of Technology and Innovation Support Centers activities and Issues of Protection and Management of Intellectual Property Rights”, was additionally organized by experts in the field of intellectual property for students, graduate students and teachers of the BSTU. The speakers were mostly represented by the staff of the National Center of Intellectual Property: Head of Industrial Property Examination Department Alena Usachova, Head of Division of Registration and Promotion of Industrial Property Commercialization Dzmitry Andryieuski, Head of Division of Copyright and Related Rights Legislation Katsiaryna Yantikava.

The NCIP representatives as well visited a number of BSTU laboratories, where they got acquainted with the most advanced and promising scientific developments and achievements of the university.

The further functioning and development of the TISC network will provide the possibility to ensure the availability for organizations of information about modern informational technologies contributing to significant increase in labor productivity, production quality and competitiveness, and transition to a new technology level.
