To the attention of the authors of works of fine art, applied art and design, audiovisual works

In accordance with the Decree of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus No. 98 dated March 19, 2024, the state accreditation of the National Center of Intellectual Property (the NCIP) as an organization for collective management of property rights for the next five-year period (from March 26, 2024 to March 25, 2029) in the following areas of collective management of rights was extended:

• management of exclusive rights for works of fine art, applied art and design at their public display as part of performances and other theatrical performances (in respect of authors of scenography, costumes, puppets);
• collection of remuneration for the public performance, broadcasting or cablecasting of audiovisual works that include musical works with or without lyrics, for the benefit of the authors of these musical works.
