The summer school provides an opportunity for undergraduate students, young professionals, intellectual property experts and government officials to gain a deeper knowledge of each aspect of intellectual property and to explore the role and functions assumed by the World Intellectual Property Organization.

To receive certification, participants must attend at least 80% of the training program time, participate in discussions and complete projects. Before applying, trainees should consider their geographic location and time zone in order to plan to be able to attend the 6-8 hour training sessions.

The summer school will be held in a hybrid format - virtually on the Zoom platform and face to face presence.

To participate, send an application to the website together with your CV, a letter describing why you want to study at the Summer School, and a copy of your passport or ID card.

Registration fees are to be paid to the National Center of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus by April 30, 2024 and are divided into the following categories.

Students and young professionals from developing countries and countries with transition economies permanently residing in these countries:

  • students: 70 $;
  • young professionals: 100 $.

Students and young professionals from developed countries:

  • students: 150 $;
  • young professionals: 250 $.

Successful candidates may cancel their registration by May 20, 2024 and receive a refund of their expenses, less a $40 cancellation penalty. After that date, the registration fee is non-refundable.
